Project Overview
Located in Wellesley, MA, this comprehensive hardscaping project focused on harmonizing the sloping backyard terrain with elegant, accessible stone architecture. We constructed multi-tiered granite steps integrated with hand-crafted fieldstone retaining walls to manage soil erosion while creating defined garden levels
The lower section features a custom Bluestone patio laid on a high-density aggregate foundation, precision-cut to withstand heavy foot traffic and New England freeze-thaw cycles. Natural stone wall caps were hand-finished to offer clean lines and additional seating along the perimeter.
This structural masonry enhancement turned a challenging elevation into a striking, functional outdoor entertainment environment tailored to the homeowner’s lifestyle.
